This is very easy and only takes a few mins once your all set up.

 

My comments here may seem long winded if your new to this, but its really such a breeze that even the dog could do it!!

 

Once you have your website portal kit set in place you can start to add pedigree information.

This is something that you will gradually build up speed and confidence in the more you do it if your new to uploading files to the internet.

 

Its very easy and takes on a few mins to accomplish....

 

First you need to add your dogs details ,peds, pictures into your CompanionXP software that came with your  Portal Kit, see Companion help on adding dogs and updating the web portal database...

 

Then you need to send your updated web database to your web server(this is the place your portal resides on the net)

 

To do this you use a piece of software called FTP, If you dont know of this type of program do not worry its all straight forward and is done in mins with no real technical setups required and best of all you can pick up FTP software all  over the net Free usually.

If your a complete novice do not worry you will manage and be a whiz in no time.

 

Once you have your FTP set up you simply send your updated database to the web server using the FTP software and thats it the new database will over-wright the old and your new records will show.
